As an EL 1 Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to apply your experience and skills to analyse, develop and implement product management options that achieve optimal use of Defence assets, balancing cost, opportunities and risks against desired asset performance.

As the Product Manager, you will be working as part of an innovative team that supports the C2 Systems Support Office of LC4S Branch to ensure CASG is able to deliver capability, systems and services to the ADF. More specifically you will be focussed on the transition of an interim Battle Management System from an acquisition phase into sustainment.

You will work closely with major acquisition projects to coordinate and support the uplift of an interim system to a more permanent Battle Management capability. Your knowledge of support system elements and your leadership skills will be key to successfully maturing support requirements to meet future capability needs.

Your key responsibilities will include the following:
  • Actively manage key stakeholder relationships and drive the product and business-planning process of the product management team.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence’s mission and policy requirements and obligations.
  • Translate, apply and implement the administrative, operational, contract management, technical and resource requirements for complex to very complex product management activities.
